CraftForms
So today was pretty awesome.....we went up to the Wayne Art Center to see the current exhibit, Craftforms 2010, where I'm showing the piece on the left, Requiem (s) Falling, and hear the Curator, Jane Milosch, undersecretary of Art, History, and Culture, for the Smithsonian, talk about American Craft.
It was a wonderful exhibit. But the Curator talk was especially wonderful for me. She talked about the importance of Artcraft, and it's part in our lives. She showed work and talked about the works by some of the most important craftspeople of America......Sam Maloof, Mary Jackson, Dale Chilhuly, and...me. It was very, very cool.
